Tim Jackson (he/they) is a Director and Choreographer based in London and New York. Tim's critically acclaimed work in theatre and opera has been seen in the West End, on Broadway, throughout the UK and internationally.

Director and Choreographer of FAGHAG starring Dylan Mulvaney (Soho Theatre and Assembly Rooms) produced by Seaview and Wessex Grove.
Director and Co-Choreographer of SOMETHING ROTTEN (Drury Lane, West End) featuring an all-star cast including Jason Manford, Marisha Wallace and Richard Fleeshman.
Director of new British Musical TWO STRANGERS (CARRY A CAKE ACROSS NEW YORK) at Criterion Theatre, West End, following a sold-out run at Kiln Theatre. Starring Dujonna Gift and Olivier Award winner, Sam Tutty.
Choreographer of DOCTOR WHO: THE GIGGLE starring Neil Patrick Harris as The Toymaker, which recently aired on BBC ONE and Disney + and is available to stream.
Choreographer of the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG, directed by Maria Friedman and starring Daniel Radcliffe, Jonathan Groff and Lindsay Mendez.
Tim trained at Mountview Academy (MA in Musical Theatre Performance) and at Oxford University (MA in Music) as a countertenor choral scholar, specialising in Orchestration. Over the twenty years, Tim has worked in a variety of artistic roles, including in the West End as a Director, a Choreographer, a Musical Director, a Music Arranger, and as a Performer. Tim has also worked extensively as a singer and vocal coach around the world, and was recently Vocal Coach to Bill Nighy for his Oscar-nominated performance in the feature film LIVING.
Tim has a passion for new work, developing over 20 new musicals. They include THE SEASON and TREASURE ISLAND, which Tim directed at Northhampton Royal & Derngate/New Wolsey and Bolton Octagon respectively. In 2022 Tim directed the first professional reimagining of the smash hit musical KINKY BOOTS at the New Wolsey Theatre.
The West End production of MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG, which Tim choreographed, won the Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival, and the production received the most 5 star reviews in West End history, also winning Best Musical at the Critics Circle Awards. Further West End credits include CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF starring Sienna Miller and Jack O'Connell, KEAN starring Sir Anthony Sher, A CHRISTMAS CAROL starring Brian Conley and STEPPING OUT starring Amanda Holden. Tim choreographed LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS at Manchester Royal Exchange, nominated for Best Musical at the MTAs and THE SECRET DIARY OF ADRIAN MOLE AGED 13¾, which was nominated for a UK Theatre Award. Tim was nominated for Best Choreographer for PARADE in the BroadwayWorld Awards.
Tim's choreography for television includes four OLIVIER AWARDS Ceremonies, Let's Sing And Dance for COMIC RELIEF and BBC ONE's NEW YEAR'S EVE midnight celebration watched by over 10million people worldwide.
